The Canny Long Training Line is a long lead for practising reliable recall, or simply for giving your dog freedom to explore while staying attached. It comes in a 5m length for puppies and small dogs or a 7m length for medium to large dogs, with a choice of brushed steel clip or locking carabiner.
Safe freedom to explore
The long-line design gives your dog room to run, sniff and explore while staying safely attached. It suits parks, fields, decompression walks, controlled socialisation and dogs that cannot safely be let off the lead.
Recall training
Practise recall safely by gradually increasing the distance between you and your dog, building confidence while keeping control throughout training.
Choice of clip
Choose a heavy-duty brushed steel trigger clip or a lightweight aluminium self-locking carabiner. The 360° rotation helps to prevent tangling, and the clip attaches to your dog's collar or harness and is designed to help prevent accidental unclipping.
Handle and grab points
A soft, padded neoprene handle and two integrated grab points let you shorten the lead instantly for greater control during training or in busy situations.
Designed and tested in the UK
Weather-resistant webbing, reinforced stitching and premium hardware are designed for everyday training and outdoor use. Developed by The Canny Company UK, which has over 20 years' experience of creating dog walking and training products.

As we hold a large range of products, your order may come in more than one package, if products are split across our different distribution centres.

Couriers
We use a mixture of Royal Mail, FedEx and DPD as couriers. We aren't able to specify a preffered courier per order. It is decided based on which will get you the order the fastest, at the time it is dispatched.
Your tracking number and courier name will be provided when your order has been fulfilled.
Custom photo cushions & Dog mattresses
These products are hand-made to order so take between 3-5 working days to be produced from date of order. Usually we see faster turnaround times but please be mindful when ordering.
Overseas
We don't currently ship overseas.
Returns
Custom products such as photo cushions and dog mattresses are NOT able to be returned. Please consider this when ordering.
If you wish to return any other product, you MUST contact our customer care team first. You can do that via our Contact Us page.
Please contact us within 30-days of receiving your item should you wish to return it.
Items should be returned unused and in the original packaging.
You must pay the cost of returning an item.
We suggest you use a signed for or insured method of delivery. If you are returning an item for exchange, then you will need to pay for the delivery of the exchanged item.
When sending the items back, ensure you’ve put your name and order number so we are able to refund you.
